The City of Sault Ste. Marie City Council is the host of Celebrate 100! and in 2010 approved a three-year budget for project management, creation of a website with interactive Calendar of Events for 2012 and overall marketing and promotion within the community.

The City will host specific events such as a special birthday party for all citizens and special recognition for our residents turning 100 years of age in 2012 and an official Celebrate 100! lapel pin.

In addition, City Council and the Celebrate 100! Team would like to encourage other 2012 celebration events in partnership with local groups and organizations.
